Does it mean something when you have similar numbers in a tarot reading?
I'm a beginner tarot reader - actually I just kinda do it for fun. But I did a reading today and I got: 6 Cups Reversed 8 Wands 8 Coins 6 Coins Reversed It seems like rather good reading, especially with the question that I asked, but I was wondering if there was something additional that I should know based on all of the sixes and eights.

- Sixes are the restoration of balance and harmony after the upsets of the fives. These cards predict an exchange, a give and take that results in a new equilibrium. It may not last, but for that moment, everything is stable. With this card, there is an almost "Ah-HA!" of recognition as if you've found a solution, and more than a little awe at its perfect symmetry. The number eight is about limitations but also about transcending them. As with Strength, having rules allow one to achieve something higher, more divine, as wild fire banked in a fireplace creates more heat and light then if it was allowed to burn as it liked. As Seven was the individual learning to stand his ground and prove his resourcefulness, eight is the individual bowing to limitations. Rather than defying them, he finds creative ways to get the most out of such rules. The hope being that not only will he learn from such restrictions, but that they will bring out the best in him. Hope this helps some :)
- I, personally, do not tend to read any particular significance into the appearance of two of a given number. Now, if I find a particular number showing up in multiple positions such that it appears to almost dominate the spread then it certainly will get a little extra attention! That being said -- 6's correspond to Tiphareth on the Tree of Life; Tiphareth represents balance and harmony, equilibrium. I don't read reversals so you would need to be the one to decide whether the reversed 6's might represent a lack of those qualities. 8's correspond to Hod on the Tree of Life; Hod represents the intellect, structure, logic. Hod is a something of a counterpart to Netzach (the 7) which represents a sense of passion, instinct, creativity. So if you were to place additional significance on the 6's and 8's - you could interpret them as an extra dose of balance & harmony from the 6's (or lack thereof depending on how you view the reversals) and structure from the 8's.
