Psychics why do you tell people over the phone what they want to hear?

Thats how I know most if not ALL are fake. Some almost convinced me until they told me it was a dark negative energy that could be fixed with western union. I did it just for free and fun and I asked one psychic a question "why did my friend stop talking to me?" she told me he was in love with me. Yea right because when I tried to talk to him he told me to leave him alone. The second psychic I didn't ask or tell her anything she told me that she sensed I fell in love with a guy at the wrong time. What woman hasnt before? And that could mean any men. Also she said he in love with me how fake. Luckily she did it for free I wouldn't pay for this mess. I must be psychic too if phone psychics are

  1. all psychics are fakes 'without God we are nothing without Christ we have no hope'
  2. There should be no title saying psychics. Because they are FAKE and people get ripped off believing in them.
  3. You don't need a psychic for this one. You can explain it in two words: repeat business. People who hear what they want to hear will call back for more.
  4. They are all fake, imagine what the world would be like if there were people that could really see the future or read your mind or whatever. And they certainly wouldn't be working for a two bit psychic hotline.
  5. They will for $7.99 a minute!:}}
  6. It honestly depends on the business. About 12 years ago I had a friend who practiced the Tarot and Ceremonial Magic. She was very good and I would say one of the few truly capable of performing spiritual counseling. And she was definitely not afraid to tell you like it is, good or bad. Of course, she had never done it for money before, and originally had no intention of taking money for her ability. She did readings for friends, family and their friends and got nothing in return for it except thanks. But she came to a point where she needed a little extra money and applied for a position on one of those psychic phone lines in California. In order to get accepted she had to do a reading over the phone for one of the management/owner types to ensure she knew what she was doing. She nailed it and got heaps of praise from the person and, thus, a position as one of the people who would be fed calls for these readings. However, the surprise that the manager had shown not only meant that my friend was good, but also that most of these phone psychics aren't. The truth is I don't trust most of the people in the New Age community. I have been around a lot of legitimate Ceremonial Magicians who were initiated and trained in Magical Fraternities and these people tend to be more altruistic and competent. Whereas, when I talk to a lot of the people in the New Age community who get booths in New Age Fairs or who setup a table outside a New Age bookstore, they have no real training or initiation whatsoever. Most of these people read a few books about angels and divination or had some "bizarre experiences as a child" and now think that random thoughts and knee-jerk opinions in their heads are spirits communicating with them. And then, after they get a little learning in business and marketing, all of a sudden they are "experienced and authentic psychics!!!" with books and websites. Actually, most of them are middle aged women who are either good at marketing and telling you what you want to hear or are filled with delusions of grandeur. Even as a mid-grade initiate in a Magical Fraternity I could run circles around the ones claiming decades of experience.
