- Circle generally means infinity. Triple knot can either be Maiden/Mother/Crone or Father/Son/Holy Ghost. That particular symbol was used on the "Charmed" series but is a Celtic triquetra.
- Classic Child's Knot, the simplest instance of Celtic Knotwork (which, oddly, wasn't limited to the Celtic people) possible. Historically, it doesn't really have a meaning other than that it looks pretty. Celtic knotwork (and the Child's Knot is included in this) is similar to Greek Geometric pottery designs; it was for looks and nothing else. However, when Christianity moved into German and Celtic territories the design was then used to represent the Trinity (three different prongs, one unified design). In modern times, the symbol has been mistaken by some individuals as an earlier sign for other gods or goddesses (working under the false assumption that Christianity absorbed those gods or their trappings). As such, it has become a symbol in neopaganism, Wiccans in particular. As Wiccans are also called witches, the symbol has also become associated with witchcraft.
- Led Zeppelin used this symbol, among others on their fourth album which was untitled. This album is commonly called the "Runes" album, or "Led Zeppelin IV." Each symbol was assigned to a band member, and this one belonged to the bassist, John Paul Jones. See the below links. "John Paul Jones symbol is a single circle intersecting 3 vesica pisces (a triquetra). Taken from a book of runes, it symbolizes a person with confidence and competence.[2] However, Jones claims it represents an exorcism."
- Okay, there are some smart folks out there, Keltasia hit the nail on the head. For those practicing the Old Ways it does represent the Maiden,Mother,Crone. and the circle does represent infinity. As people of the new faiths of Christianity spread all over it was taken to mean Father, Son, Holy Spirit Remember all of you what ever your religion, live your faith, that way you will be the best representative it could have. Blessed Be
