Was there Vampires mystical characters in China before Europeans arrival?

I watched a chinese movie today, Ive seen a group of vampire-likes, they jump and suck blood, but they still wear chinese costumes...I find it has sth similar with Dracula's. Also the movie portrait-ed during the British colonial time too. I wonder if the mentioned characters got some influenced from Europeans. Thx you!

1. Probably yes. I watched Chinese vampires from the movies, they all wore the clothes from the Qing Dynasty. It was the time when european came to China in a large number. Before that Qing Dynasty, the movies only show ghosts. .
