Do you guys think tarot readings and horoscopes are accurate?
I ask this question simply because I've done both tarot readings, and read horoscopes. Some of what they have been true and other time not so much. But ultimately I thinks all on what you believe, am I right?

- I'm not sure, sometimes i think it's all conjecture. But it doesn't stop me reading them, they can be quite interesting.
- yeah it helps but you cant go with exactly wat they say
- True
- Yeah it depends on what people believe. But there are other forces out there i mean like come on. SHIT is to weird that happens to some people so i think it works. but whatever.
- i know a gay guy who does that stuff. It was accuarte. i didnt do him im not gay. and hes a cancer male.
- Yes,really .........
- I can only answer for Tarot because Astrology is more complex. my tarot readings have been accurate according to my askers. So it should depend on who is doing it for you. I've done tarot readings for over 11 years now and I know my cards like the back of my hand. What is important to remember with Tarots, is that they should only give you advice and a new outlook on a situation. It gives you the possibility to master your own destiny and make better choices based on logic. Because if you truly know Tarot cards, their meanings and symbols, you will notice that they are based on pure logic and human nature. For example, if you are hurt, you will feel sad and everything else in your life will be negative. Tarot is not fatalistic. That is why religious beliefs are against Tarots. Contrary to religions that set a destiny for each individual the moment they are born, Tarot cards will show you ways to build your own destiny by yourself. To master your own life and make your own decision. It is actually a very modern outlook on life.
- It's a lost science, as well as an art. It's helpful to remember that the "astrology" we're used to, which is all about sun signs and birth times, is just a branch of a much bigger science. It's an ambitious enterprise, learning how it all actually works.
- I don't really believe in astrology, but I would be open to having someone do an elaborate reading for me to see if it makes any sense to me. I think it's an interesting system that could have some spiritual value, but I don't read horoscopes, especially not the cheapie newspaper ones... they always stink. Tarot readings, however, I enjoy and do myself. No. They are not "accurate" any more then your BFF giving you good advice when you've had a hard day. Advice can't be accurate or inaccurate... it's not a set of facts, it's a set of ideas, thoughts and possible actions. Generally, I find that tarot gives GOOD advice, but it's not about predicting future events to the letter... what would be the point of knowing you're going to get into a car accident if there's nothing you can do to stop it? On the other hand, if the cards advise you to update your car insurance, you can act on that and if you get into an accident, you are covered and if not, then maybe it's because you realized you should be a safer driver after consulting the cards. Is that about accuracy? No, it's about efficiency. -Scarlet
