I have a question on an Eye Healing Prayer. PLEASE help me, and answer?
I have an eye disease. It's known as a Pterygium. I'm still really young and I love to have fun. However, because of my disease, I do have a low self-confidence and can never look somebody straight in the eyes. I cover one eye with my sidebangs, because if I don't every day I would be questioned on my eye. It's a horrible thing. :( I really hope to seek healing by praying. I found this prayer for eye healing.. it goes : "Dear Sicilian Virgin and Martyr, whom the Church recalls in Eucharistic Prayer I, you valiantly rejected great promises and resisted several threats in remaining faithful to your beloved Lord. For centuries Christians have invoked you particularly when suffering from eye-trouble. So now we implore your assistance on behalf of (Name). We also ask you to teach us to imitate you and to avoid spiritual blindness of any kind. Amen." Can somebody explain this to me? I don't want to just say it without meaning what I'm saying so I need to understand this prayer first. Thank you so much. I HAVE been to a doctor. I had this growth surgically removed. It came back.

- Go see a doctor. God won't heal you. He only heals ailments you can't see.
- I am a Christian but God does not work that way. He does not heal people at this time. He did not heal Paul of his sickness and he did not heal Timothy's stomach problems. God is not doing any healing right now. He will do so in the future though. Soon God will restore the earth to the paradise he intended for it to be in the first place. He will get rid of all sickness, pain and death forever. Rev. 21:4. This is when he will do miracles of healing and resurrection.
- What self absorbtion! God has never alleviated famine or epidemics no matter how many people prayed. Why do you think He would listen to you problem? The more logical answer is god does not exist.
- pst: Jesus was NOT (yet) perfected in Luke 13:32 while casting out devils and while doing cures; For perfected has no devils to cast out nor ills to cure. Perfect Love (God) thinketh no evil: 1Cor 13:5. So then, if you lack wisdom, about healing, ask the God who "upbraideth not": James 1. For if you ask the wrong God, in wrong Son, then you get Vengeance<--Punishment, a twoedged sword witch bites & smites, like Law1<--Law2 are Beast1<--Beast2. Christ is neither of Adam1<--Adam2, and his God is not a man who should lie or die. Bottom line: flush law as "dung" to be rid of flaw. Where and when no law, there and then no flaw. Romans 4:15... 5:13 ... 7:6.. 8:1 ... Rev'tn 22:21
