  1. I only trust Ghost Whisperer and it's not on here
  2. ghost hunters is not bad and ghost adventure is probably the best to watch but its not been on in uk for a while is there a season 3 of it i don't know ? i used to like a haunting but i did get a bit bored of it. paranormal fact or fiction and paranormal state never really clicked with me and the psychic shows i find the worst of the genre, but i really hate the end of ghost hunters where grant and the other guy clash knuckles and say good job bro lol
  3. I have never heard of PARANORMAL FACT OR FICTION, but the others are simply frauds. Not one is true.
  4. It would be difficult to put a rating on each one. I love the psychic shows, but I can't believe psychics just because they say they are, I'd have to see them for myself. I love Chip Coffey, so love what he's in. I'd have to say Ghost Hunters would be my highest, although I couldn't say I fully trust. They seem to be the only ones who actually look to see where a noise or shadow comes from and try to reenact it, without suddenly saying paranormal. Ghost Adventures is a joke. Paranormal State is quite dull. I thoroughly enjoy the shows where people tell their stories of experiences, such as A Haunting, The Haunted, Celeb Ghost Stories. Paranormal Witness if my new favorite. When you have multiple witnesses, often without personal relationships, it makes it more believable. When you have law enforcement tell their sides, more believable. There was one episode regarding a UFO, they played the original police radio traffic in that episode as counties of officers were seeing and chasing it down. I remember hearing about this a few years ago. I've also seen 2 other shows' "victims" who wrote their stories on the internet long before appearing on the show. They may have altered up some things, but other things were left out too. Are the reenactments inflated on this show, I'm very sure they are. I don't care for My Ghost Story. Most of the shows I have seen seem to deal with "orbs", menacing orbs, LOL, that they caught on camera. I do watch Fact of Faked, but have to laugh at all the trouble and expense they go through to reenact, when most people wouldn't have the funds nor the intelligence to pull off such hoaxes.
  5. The Native American Spiritual Healer who blessed and warded my haunted house was featured on Paranormal State, so I would say that is fairly trustworthy. Ghost Hunters is science based and won't say a place is haunted without tangible evidence, also credible. A Haunting (which has not been new for a while) is supposedly based on true stories - I haven't seen anything on there so far out of line as to say it isn't believable (based on my own paranormal experiences - anyone who doesn't believe in ghosts will just say it's not believable). I don't know about the others. Add: Ghost whisperer is a hoax. He feels out the audience until someone feeds him information. When South Park does an episode about it, you know it's a scam. They even show (on South Park) how he sucks his audience in. Without realizing it people in the audience give him very detailed information from his incredibly vague questions and it makes him look like he's giving THEM the information.
  6. I remember the first season or two of "Ghost Hunters", or whatever that show with the plumbers is. They would go to a private residence, conduct a reasonable examination, record some videos, wave an EMF detector around, and go back to their office. A few "weird" sounds and shadows would be shown. Then they would go back tot he homeowner and show him how faulty wiring was causing EMF leaks that can cause problems in sensitive people. They would show the video of doors opening on their own and show the homeowner how an uneven floor or a heating vent were causing the door to move a bit. They would almost always reassure the homeowner that they didn't think the home was haunted, and offer to come back at a later date if the homeowner was still spooked. Flash forward to the later seasons of the show. Gone are any discussions of wiring problems. Gone is any evidence of weird lights being reflection from car headlights outside. Gone is any discussion of air vents, or any other physical problem that could be contributing to a homeowner's sense that something weird is happening. Instead, we have parlor tricks. We have ghost hunts in big, rundown buildings like old prisons or hospitals. Big places where the crumbling structure itself can cause noises and weird shadows. We have cheap sleight-of-hand tricks to make it look like ghosts are grabbing people's jackets or moving chairs around. Frankly, I don't trust any of those shows. They simply HAVE to keep showing more and more outrageous stories just to keep people tuning in. I used to like the Ghost Hunter show when it was a couple of plumbers really looking to reassure real people. That show in particular is a joke now.
  7. The only shows that I've really watched off of that list are Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures and A Haunting. While A Haunting is supposedly based off of true stories the entire episode is a dramatization, which automatically means that the people's experiences have been edited and changed, so I would take that show with a grain of salt. Ghost Hunters is more focused on the scientic aspect of ghost hunting, so I do give them some amount of credit for trying to disprove things that happened. That being said, sometimes it seems as if they're trying too hard to disprove the things that happened, and other times they don't try to disprove what happens at all. Their evidence is inconsistant at best, shoddy at worst. Ghost Adventures is my favorite paranormal show. These guys take the emotional approach to ghost hunting and it really pays off. They do whatever it takes to get evidence whether it means provoking the spirits or participating in a voodoo ceremony. Their evidence is always backed up by some kind of scientific instrument and I think they've gotten the best evidence out of any paranormal show I've ever seen. In essense, Ghost Adventures is the only one I believe 100%
  8. Interestingly enough, I prefer watching Ghost Lab with the team Everyday Paranormal. I noticed it not make your list, however it is worth the watch. Older episodes can be seen on the Green Channel. Also, Animal Planet has a good one on that involves what animals possibly see and react to called "Haunted". Our of the list you made this is the order: Paranormal files: Fact or faked. (It is my favorite cause I love youtube) Ghost Hunters: I DVR it and watch them at my leisure Paranormal State/ Psychic Kids are a tie for me. Dead Files: Interesting concept My Ghost Stories: Seen it but I can't say that I remember any episodes. Ghost Adventures: I like the locations, I just hope that Zac will calm down one day. Ghostly Encounters: Ok show Celebrity Ghost Stories: I am torn here. One the one hand, why would anyone, famous or not, want to draw attention to themselves on TV? But these are celebrities....
