what is the meaning of the five of cups in tarot to you?

- If you dont understand its symbolism then why have tarot cards? The symbolism is just made up because it had meaning during the time it was used. Nowadays you can use whatever symbolism you understand. If you just use a standard old style deck you use the standard deffinition of the meaning unless the symbols mean something completely different to yourself. Tarot isnt magical it just relies on what the person doing it can do.
- The 5 of Cups usually indicates a loss and the need to grieve that loss. I could probably try to go into more detail, but the 5 of Cups is a very straight forward card and it mostly just has this one simple meaning. It's not a complicated card.
