Writing on fortune teller's playing cards?

I was talking to my friend the other day and fortune telling came up in our conversation and she said her aunt was a fortune teller, and she was one of the best of the best. I asked her what was the fortune telling tool she used, she said a deck of cards, I asked tarot and she said no, just an ordinary deck of playing cards, but her aunt had written something on each card(On the top and bottom, i think). i asked my friend if she knew what she wrote on the cards, but she was really young at the time and can't remember. Her aunt died years ago and my friend said that in her will she wanted the cards to be buried with her and they were... so, does anyone out there know what my friends fortune telling aunt might have written on her cards? Thanks :D Oh, here is some stuff my friend said her aunt could do.She told me how a woman came to her to get her fortune told and did the shuffling of the cards routine, and the aunt said that the woman would get an important letter in the mail the next day and even gave her the time, and was 100% right. She also said her aunt could forecast the weather, exactly what your future holds, what the past held, locations, tell a baby's gender and with excruciating detail who someone was going to fall in love with/marry (she couldn't give names, only features, clothes and personality) and all sorts of other stuff, all with the cards. she said her aunt didn't want people to become dependant on her fortunes so she had a strict limit of 1 reading and 2 questions every other day and she did it all for free. at the bottom there where i typed " she had a strict limit of 1 reading and 2 questions every other day" i forgot to type "1 reading and 2 questions per person every other day" sorry...

1. There's a couple things she could have done. She could have wrote the respective correlations to Tarot cards on the playing cards, though that would require removing the major arcana. Some older traditions with playing cards have their own meaning for each card, to which she may have written down a few key words or ideas to know what each card was about. Even things that may have been symbolic to her. In the references is a website that has a pretty basic set of card meanings for each suit and number.
2. every psychic or "seer" has a tool that helps them open an energetic or dimensional door or help concentration. as i am one sometimes we need a cue like an actor's cue card or crystal or stone to open our channel and detatch. your job is to discern real psychics from money greedy false ones
