Can you use a normal spread for tarot card such as the vampire tarot?

I have a vampire based tarot card deck and it has some spread ideas already in there however I was wondering if it was at all possible to use other spreads regardless of the fact that it's not a basic/ normal tarot deck. Many thanks.

2. You can use any spread you like..whatever works best for you is what you should use, even if it's not one recommended by the literature included with the deck. Experiment, trying as many spreads as you know or can find. You'll soon discover which is the correct one for you. Many (possibly most) tarot readers even make up their own meanings for the cards. If that works for you, then that's the right way to do it. It's the results that count, not the method. Best of luck.
3. What is a Vampire Tarot. I have never heard of it. I just have ordinary Tarot cards.
4. I have a Vampire Deck and I do use my nomal spread with it if I'm feeling fun. I only use it for fun, rather than asking "Big-Stuff". I get better results with my less gory decks though. I use the Celtic Cross with my Druid deck, and the one that comes with the packet on my Rider-Waite. (Can't remember it's name) There's only so far you can go with quirky death themed stuff, even if you are goth by nature!
5. Yes. Use whatever spreads you want to try.
