strange things happening after using tarot cards?

i went to a psychic a couple weeks ago. she told me my mom was a tarot reader (which is true, she used to be), and that she senses strong psychic abilities with me, and that i was a reader too. so a couple days ago i got myself a deck of tarot cards, ive been trying to learn how to use them correctly and learn what they mean.. the first day i got them, i read a bunch of people, but i told them that i was not a pro, and i hardly know what im doing. but every single persons was accurate! some people were on the verge of tears because of how accurate they were. well, anyway. that same night when i went to bed i had a dream of this one girl who goes to my college. She's black and always has her hood up. She's quiet, but she always just follows my group of friends, stands there and listens to what we say. pretty much she's shady. well i had a dream she was in my room and she spilled water on my floor. i got mad at her and told her to clean it up. so she got monstrously mad at me for that, she pushed me down, tied my hands and started sticking needles in my arms.. what does this mean?

  1. u wasted your money....nd u were on shrooms before going to bed
  2. Wait. You're the psychic and you're asking us what your dream means?
  3. The identity of the person in the dream is not important, what matters is the contents of the dream. By dabbling in the black arts you have made yourself vulnerable to evil, the dream is a warning. Stop the tarot stuff.
  4. I'm psychic too. Let me look into the mists. Hmmm, I'm getting something about you... you live some place warm, and south, there's flowers, it's Florida! Wait, near the water...near the beach...Miami, you live in Miami! And you're religious, but not strictly. you're not Christian either. I'm seeing a crescent moon. I know, you're Muslim. I'm getting something else....you're really gullible and if you keep going to fortune tellers you're also going to be really poor. Amazing what you can learn from looking at a profile.
  5. Tarot cards are nonsense. The fact that it kicked your imagination into high gear is pretty normal - or else you wouldn't have been going to a Psychic in the first place. The dream? It's just yet another sex dream.
  6. In the Bible it says that Everyone using tarot cards will go to Hell! Your dream was for warning of the devil, devil's style/type you have decided to become. Where you are aiming for! I suggest you watch the DVD or Free over the Internet "The Lazarus Phenomenon". It shows what heaven and hell are like, reported by people that have died and come back to life. And in Hell and that were witches have to keep eating themselves over and over.
  7. Can a regular human being foretell the future? No, these abilities are only present when demons are around. The Bible talks about a girl who was possessed by a "demon of divination." Acts 16:16-18: And it happened that as we were going to the place of prayer, a certain servant girl with a spirit, a demon of divination, met us. She used to furnish her masters with much gain by practicing the art of prediction. 17 This [girl] kept following Paul and us and crying out with the words: “These men are slaves of the Most High God, who are publishing to YOU the way of salvation.” 18 This she kept doing for many days. Finally Paul got tired of it and turned and said to the spirit: “I order you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And it came out that very hour. After the demon was expelled, the girl lost her ability to predict things: Acts 16:19: Well, when her masters saw that their hope of gain had left, they laid hold of Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the rulers. Do you understand, then, who are behind psychic powers? Do you understand who are behind tarot cards? Do you understand who are behind telepathic nightmarish attacks? Deuteronomy 18:10-13: There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, 11 or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. 12 For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah, and on account of these detestable things Jehovah your God is driving them away from before you. 13 You should prove yourself faultless with Jehovah your God.
  8. You are dabbling with spiritual powers that come through the Kingdom of Darkness and it can lead to no good, however much flattered you may be by your experience. Your mother probably opened this door when she dabbled in these things. God views such practices as idolatry, and it will bring a curse upon you, unless you turn from these things/ Listen to a girl who had powers to tell futures in the Bible, and see where her powers come from......... "Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.” She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her. When the owners of the slave girl realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities. They brought them before the magistrates and said, “These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice.” Acts 16:16-21 NIV this lady had occult power also - but she found something far better......... http://www.freecdtracts.com/testimony/carolkornacki.htm and hear this man...... http://www.freecdtracts.com/testimony/bishop_earthquake_kelley.htm
  9. Strange things are happening all the time, but they don't have a great deal to do with tarot cards. Generally speaking, 'psychic readings' get to be accurate only because they trade off precision for accuracy. That is to say, by involving statements so vague that pretty much anyone can reinterpret them to fit themselves. I mean, if you tell someone 'you're at a turning point in your life and unsure where to go from here' or 'there's someone you like but you find it hard to express your feelings', how many people are going to unilaterally disagree? On the other hand, if you actually do have clairvoyant powers, then I recommend using them to win yourself a million dollars: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Randi_Educational_Foundation#The_One_Million_Dollar_Paranormal_Challenge
  10. It's confirmation bias. If someone already believes that tarot cards (or astrology, or any other paranormal woo woo) works, and you tell them something benign, neutral, or favourable about their supposed future, they will perceive it as accurate, regardless of what you tell them. So long as it's vague (and it is always vague, nobody ever tells you that X will happen at exactly 3.17 pm next tuesday) they will perceive it as accurate. Even if you genuinely think you have a prophetic gift, this is all that is happening. You actually don't have a prophetic gift, and the cards are not magic. It is just that people will be inclined to think things are accurate, even when they are generic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Dp2Zqk8vHw This youtube video demonstrates the same thing with horoscopes, but it's equally applicable to tarot cards. It works on the same principles. There is no way to tell the future. It's just that if you make some generic statements about stuff, for example "You're going to change careers soon" or "You're very possessive about something" or "Your health will be a problem in the future" chances are people are going to pick up on these suggestions and identify things in their lives that match the prediction. For example, you haven't given a time for when the career will change, or details about it. Most people change jobs at some stage in their lives. And most people have health problems at some stage in their lives. The suggestion is vague enough that anyone will identify with it. It isn't really a prediction. You had a random dream about someone you know that you perceive as 'shady'. That means nothing. I had a dream that I was lying in bed and Peter Garrett from Midnight Oil was trying to kill me. You dream random things. They have no meaning, it's just your subconscious being active during sleep. Dreams don't mean anything. Nothing weird is going on. It's just people being victims of confirmation bias. They expect the tarot cards will tell them their future, so they'll identify with things you say that they see happening down the track, and actually ignore or not remember the other things you say that never come to fruition. Nobody has psychic powers, no matter how strongly they believe it. Otherwise, these people would pass scientific tests. A lot of tests on this stuff have demonstrated that people's predictions of the future are just guesswork -- we just ignore the times they are wrong, often without realising it. When it's actually put to the test, and scrutinised, it's clear that any predictions they make are just consistent with random chance -- they aren't predictions at all, and none of them are specific enough to be real predictions. Sorry to burst your bubble. There's nothing weird going on. Have a look at James Randi's videos. They are great. They will blow your mind.
  11. I would go to the forums on www.tarot.com and post this in the forum... there are many experienced psychics willing to help you out free of charge. They can analyze your dream for you as they have analyzed a few of mine. :)
