Mystical Angels

tips on how to make a picture look mystical? lol please answer?

k so i drew a huge tree with a little swing from it and a girl in a dress swinging and im planning on using pastels(chalk stuff) to put a little bit of color in it, and im just trying to think of other things i could add to it to make it look like a fairy tail type picture. ive never drawn this kind of stuff before, usually i draw still life or portraits but this is way fun.. i just dont know what to do. and i dont really have a picture to go from so im kindof taking a shot in the dark with this picture lol um yeah hahah so if you have any pointers on how to make this look majical-ish lol then that would be great thanks. :]

1. without adding things there are a bunch of ways to make it look more mystical, Color can say allot about the image. Before you start to color it decide on a color pallet. I suggest violet blue-green, pink and yellow. these are my favorite colors for doing a fairy-tale scene. Especially something girly. Pastels are a good choice for coloring this type of image, I would also recommend water color or gouache. Bees, birds, dragon flies, or small styalised fuzzy creatures are also a good way to make it look more fairly tale.
2. Sprinkle some glitter on one part of the picture and make it stick with an adhesive.
