How do i get over a bad tarot card reading?

About 5 years ago i went on a website called facade.com and had a tarot card reading the cards meant; death or injury, journey travelling or a mode of travel i.e. a car and sacrificing yourself for someone you love or they sacrafice themselves for you. This has made me really scared of driving and travelling with people! Not so much that I don't but when I do I'm always thinking about the reading. Don't worry too much I am sceptical, it's just hard not to think about it sometimes when you've been made aware of it. If you're spouse woke up and said, "I had a dream last night you would die on the way to work" you would thionk about it, even if you are sceptical! thanks for the advice!

  1. Same way I got over the letter I got telling me I had just won $10,000,000. I realized it was total BS!
  2. Go to another one
  3. just forget it, it's all in your head hell, even if you did believe in that sort of thing, doesn't a tarot card reading have to be done with a real deck of cards, with a real person sitting across from you to be valid? do you really think a website can predict the future?
  4. take another reading and prove that it was wrong
  5. lisa you went to a wrong reader life is going is it in the past forget it that was a false readings .if i were in your place i would go for every car journey to see the world .go go.
  6. How the hell can you let a computer generated tarot card reading affect your life like that. Open your eyes.
  7. get a life and realise it is all a load of cr*p!
  8. STOP BELIEVING!
  9. Look, websites cannot declare your true future. Maybe you should be cautious about driving and stuff, but don't go all over it and think that's what'll happen to you. The internet cannot truly delve into your life and spoil it. The internet doesn't know you as the true person you are. It just plays tricks on you to scare you. Ignore it. Sure, the internet can be OK sometimes, but keep away from anything wierd or scary that happens on the internet. I know this is soooo childish and wierd, but it'll make you feel OK, so go to the website I've given you. I myself have tested some of the questions, and all the answers and readings are TOTALLY POSITIVE(maybe not 'positive', but mysterious and cute!)!!! Please try the Nolee's Fortune Fun Game!
  10. Here's a quote for you by Henri Bergson; "The eye sees only what the mind is prepared to comprehend." Why believe unless your mind tells you to. And why can't your mind tells you that it is not accurate? If it is 100% accurate, the world will know about that powerful site by now, right? Use common sense.
  11. man..u seriously believe these stuff? it is just a tarot it is not God..God only decided these stuff..leave these idiotic tarots alone..and if anything happens..it aint from the firggin tarot its the person's destiny and no1 decides this destiny but God..so..GET OVER IT MAN!!
  12. eat carrots (because it rhymes with tarrots) for 11 nights in a row at exactly 9:32 with 36 seconds. CLose your eyes while you do this and imagine a white orb protecting you everytime you bite!
  13. Pray...
  14. You must keep in mind several things with tarot readings. 1. The future is not set in stone. That's how to use tarot readings to the most benefit. You can take the advice given and make sure that the outcome doesn't happen. 2. Sometimes the outcomes of the cards can happen in a drastically different way than we can anticipate. For example, I've drawn the dreaded Tower card on myself, and it happened but not as badly as I thought. You can't really assume with Tarot. 3. The cards are meant for taking a deeper look within yourself, and every reader will interpret the cards differently. What Facade says, I might might (I'm a reader) see differently. It all depends on the reader. 4. Cards should *never* be interpreted for indicators of health and mortality. It's a gross irresponsibility on the part of the reader if they are. Contact me, and I will be more than happy to give you a *professional* reading for free to help ease your mind. Love and Light to you.
  15. If this reading took place 5 years ago, I think you can stop worrying about it. Unless your question was "what's going to happen to me in the next 5-6 years?" Except for questions where a time frame is indicated, readings typically indicate your present situation or the near future. I think you're past the danger zone. Also, remember that they don't have to predict the future. They can be used as a warning. So if you had a reading indicating a car accident, that could mean you'll have one - or it could be taken as a warning to be more aware of your surroundings so you DON'T have one. I did a 3-month reading for myself some time ago, and it came up with pregnancy. For that whole time period, I was terrified. So I was very careful with the birth control. I didn't get knocked up - but perhaps I was "scheduled" to, but my extra precautions paid off? So I know where you're coming from.
  16. First, Facade is just a script which spits out sound-byte meanings with the cards. Each card is multi-facted, and layered with meaning. The meanings change depending on the surrounding cards, what spread you're using, what method of dealing, etc. So if you aren't already knowledgable when it comes to Tarot, you cannot possibly get a good reading there. 2) The cards are highly symbolic. The death card doesn't necessarily mean death; the six of swords doesn't necessarily refer to a literal journey over water. Etc. So in other words, you are probably making a mountain out of a molehill here. 3) You say you're a skeptic? Well, then why not discount the reading altogether. There's no scientific evidence that divination of any kind works! Here's what skeptics think of Tarot http://skepdic.com/comments/tarotcom.html
  17. Ignore it. Never underestimate the power of denial! Seriously though, as a website developer who has played around on Facade.com, the cards are generated by certain keywords. Once you notice the pattern you can actually pick certain cards on purpose just by having a certain keyword in the sentence. It's not magic, it's manmade.
  18. Tarot is just a tool that tells you of possibilities that may occur. It is like a gauge that shows you where you are at a particular time and space. There is no death card...if it came up it means that there will be some type of rebirth. This could actually be a very good card, new possibilities could be around the corner. There is prayer, put your trust in God, ask your guardian angel for help and protection. Do not fear the tarot, it is only a tool to help you on your journey.
  19. I have had experience of people using this site and then coming to me for interpretation -- it is not a bad site, per se, but the tarot combinations are computer generated and not well enough analysed to give a great deal of help. So, ignore it. It is a waste of energy and negative for you to be living with this fear, however general it is. Believing a reading without question is never a good idea - believing a prediction made by a computer is a really bad one. If you really want a tarot reading, choose someone who has been personally recommended.
  20. Ok. You can use an online tarot program but the point is to be focused on what your question is. Secondly, do not have a fit when you see the death card in a tarot spread. It does not mean you will be killed. It represents change. Or the death of something as in the end of something instead of someone. The same goes for the sacrifice, it does not mean that they will kill themselves to save you or vice versa. It means to make a sacrifice to either help someone or to move a head. There is no need to be afraid to drive. I have a protection spell on my car, I got into an accident a few months ago, i had minor damage, but the other person's car looked worse. Now you could say that if I did a protection spell then I wouldn't have gotten into an accident, right? Wrong, the protection was there by keeping the accident from being worse than it could have been. I would say to you get a reading from someone else. Tarot.com is good for an online reading.
