What does my tarot reading mean?

I did a tarot reading for myself, the 'Daily Inspiration' spread, with nine cards arranged in rows of three, placing them from left to right, top row first. You read from left to right, starting at the top, then top to bottom, starting on the left, then diagonal from top left to bottom right then top right to bottom left, and finally you read the central card - the now card. I got: 7 of P, 6 of P, THE SUN 7 of W, 6 of W, Q of P 2 of P, K of P, K of C I'm relatively new to tarot reading, but I could read most of it, but the bottom line down the right side confused me, with the Knights and Queens. Any help?

  1. Tarot is bull...that's what it means... What does that say of you?

  3. I don't quite know what the spread your speaking about is - tarot can be used in any spread, it is the imagery and the way the mind wraps itself around shapes that is important. e.g. cards placed towards the rear indicate past; above higher function; below impulse; and forward ego, action and prerogative. The inclusion of the Major Arcana indicates a significator in your future. The sun provides you with optimistic potential, with yourself becoming the Queen of Pent. (I am assuming that you are a woman here). The array of pent qualities both above and below show the creation of this ego in detail. As you may well know, pents are symbols of commercial achievement. In the central row we see the presence of wands - symbol of earth and personal prowess. These are the tools you will need to utilize in order to achieve this elevated state of affairs. Finally the presence of the kings in this spread refer to an individual who will aid you in this transformation. Both the King of Pent and Cups are in fact the same individual. Cups will be his true nature, with pents his relation to you.
  4. It means that you are gullible and will believe anything!
  5. While I am not familiar with this particular spread I have used cards for a very long time and they can be a useful tool. Not the ONLY tool but a useful one. I use the Thoth deck and so that is what this will be based out of. Don't feel bad court cards give the most experienced readers pause when they come up. They need to be read in context and therefore are more challenging than the others. 1. 7 of disks - Saturn in Taurus 'failure" don't panic that is just meaning that the disks are not happy here. Saturn is restricting the bulls ability to move and he is none too happy about it. 2, 6 of disks - Moon in Taurus "success" the disks are very happy here. All is balanced and movement is easy. 3. The Sun - a glorious card where hope springs eternal and everything really is sunshine and roses. 4. 7 of wands - Mars in Leo "valour" it has been a fight but Mars is very happy in Leo. 5. 6 of wands - Jupiter in Leo "victory" The expansive nature of Jupiter is just thrilled to be in Leo. The two are perfect compliments. 6 is balanced and the number of the Sun, all is right in the world. 6. Queen of disks. NOTE the court cards are actually elemental reflections of the suits Knights-fire, Queens-water,Prince-air and princess-earth. So the Queen of disks is the watery part of earth. It can be looked at as your emotional response to earthly matters. Think harth and home. 7. 2 of Disks- Jupiter in Capricorn "change" this is the ying and yang of constant motion in a divine matter. 8. King of Disks - This is the Fire of Earth. This is our drive for material things in a divine manner. It is rooted in its more Earthy nature and while it drives us to start things it also holds us down. 9 King of Cups - He is Fire of Water. He is the leap of faith it takes to start new emotional projects. He is holding the Holy grail and fixed water in the form of Cancer is exalted here. He is moving on a leap of emotional faith. Good luck and enjoy!
  6. means u r goin against god..whats wanna know your future for r ?u incapable of making your own..do dont have to be told your future,be happy life's what u make it..no-one knows the future only god..pray and ask him instead,Paula x
  7. Hello As a newbie to tarot I tell students to stick to very simple spreads due to the confusion of more complex ones. The court cards often confuse as well when your new to tarot. Start small & you will build a strong relationship with them. Pam
